Five BOMA/Chicago Buildings Win Regional TOBY Awards
Five BOMA/Chicago buildings have won North Central Region awards for The Office Building of the Year (TOBY). The North Central Region encompasses Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. These regional winners will compete in the International TOBY Awards which will be announced June 24, 2008 at the BOMA International Commercial Real Estate Congress and The Office Building Show in Denver. The regional winners are:
Over Million Square Feet Category TOBY winner: 330 North Wabash, managed by Prime Group Realty Trust and owned by 330 N. Wabash Avenue, LLC.
500,000 - 1 Million Square Feet Category winner: 55 West Monroe, managed by Jones Lang LaSalle and owned by LaSalle Investment Management.
Historical Building Category winner: The Chicago Board of Trade Building at 141 West Jackson Blvd. managed by C-B-T Corporation and currently owned by the CME Group and previously owned by The Board of Trade of the City of Chicago.
Government Building Category winner: CTA Building at 567 West Lake Street, managed by Transwestern and owned by the Chicago Transit Authority.
Corporate Facility Category winner: Charles M. Harper Center at 5807 South Woodlawn Avenue, managed and owned by University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
